Local artists Adrienne Brown and Michela Griffith will share a venue for this year’s Buxton Art Trail on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 July 2017. Their work will be on display between 11am and 6pm each day at 18 White Knowle Road, Buxton SK17 9NH.

In her exhibition, Cutting It, award-winning artist Adrienne explores shape, colour and texture through embroidered photomontage, collage and painting.

Michela Griffith creates evocative abstracts of the River Dove with an emphasis on movement and texture. Fluid: Images of and Inspired by Water will show you places you think you know well in a new, liquid, light.

“We both use cameras as part of our creative processes, but what you will see is far-removed from popular preconceptions of photography” says Michela.
